General and Membership Updates:
- The ACEN AGM is scheduled for 20 June 2024 at the WCE Lapa, with a formal invitation to follow.
- Next Council meeting: 13 May 2024.
- ACEN membership fees for 2024/2025 collected to date amount to N$ 536,572.

- New member firms: Shield Force CE, Archetype Project Consultants, Super CE, and Eavion Consulting and Engineering.
- Membership termination: Juliohn Taylor CE.

Strategic Planning Meeting:
- ACEN redefined its Purpose and Values to focus on promoting members' professional and business interests, enhancing reputation, and supporting professionalism and integrity.
- Immediate actions include upgrading the ACEN website, revamping its design, and improving member accessibility. Updates will be presented at the AGM.

Surveys:
- An Engineering Salary Survey (in partnership with WTW) aims to provide industry insights by October 2024. Participation deadline: 28 June 2024.
- A Member Survey conducted in January 2024 received responses from 33 firms, with results to be shared at the AGM.

YCEN Council Nominations:
- YCEN is establishing a council to drive activities in networking, mentorship, business development, and membership growth.
- Eligibility: Young professionals (35 years or younger) from ACEN member firms registered in the YCEN database.
- Nomination deadline: 26 April 2024.

Social Media and Marketing:
- Members are encouraged to share news, job openings, and project updates for ACEN’s Facebook and LinkedIn platforms.
- ACEN emphasized the importance of using its digital platforms to increase visibility and engagement.
